After 1 year of applying for a mineral claim and waiting for first nations approval was approved by mto. Mike had printed off five and a half pages of first nations that claimed the claim area was in their traditional territory.
The first nation has appealed the decision of the supreme court of BC that fee simple property holders can’t have their property rights given away by govt. Legislation; to the supreme court of canada. The decision of the supreme court of canada is binding on all canadian provinces and territories with no higher court to appeal to. We wait for their decision.
This affects us who have tenure lease rights to any minerals on our placer and /or hard rock claims.
